Highlights include the Shepherd Barn, with its antique farm equipment and working blacksmith shop, and the 18th-century Shepherd House, containing a quirky collection of exotic souvenirs culled from the travels of its previous owners. The center resides a mile east of Smith College in downtown, across from the post office.
